Introducing Hytera's Latest Bodycam; VM780
The Hytera Bodycam family is growing: The new top-of-the-range VM780 combines Bodycam and PoC radio in a single device, enabling real-time data and video streaming over 3G/4G/Wi-Fi. This makes the VM780 the ideal companion for any demanding application.
The new VM780 allows optimal position detection and field assessment within the shortest possible time – the 216-degree swivel HD camera provides the necessary care and delivers high-resolution images safely and directly into the control room. To transmit real time HD video, Bodycam uses H.265 video compression technology to minimise transmission bandwidth. All important functions such as video recording or voice recording are controlled with just one touch of a button.
Comfortable operation via colour touch display
The new flagship of the Hytera Bodycam series supports all common broadband frequencies in Europe, has an integrated GPS/GLONASS positioning feature and is comfortable and quick to operate via the robust 2.8-inch colour touch display. The powerful 3500mAh battery allows up to nine hours of active operation for video, picture and sound recordings and a standby mode of up to ten days.
The LTE-enabled Bodycam with speaker microphone is designed primarily to capture, store and share high-definition, 256-bit encrypted video, audio and image data, but at the same time offers all the important functions of a radio via push-to-talk-over-cellular (PoC):
Using the new Hytera application solution HyTalk (release scheduled for autumn 2019), it is possible to receive and place individual and group calls. With the emergency button, an alarm can be triggered at the press of a button in critical situations.

With its PTT over Cellular (PoC) compatibility, it enables PoC app solutions to be used for optimum operation. In addition to Bluetooth, the VM780 can be used with the NFC module in scenarios in which tags have to be read, for example, for information requests and more.
The IP68 protection standard and the MIL-STD-810 G certification make this Bodycam an extremely robust companion for everyday use even in harsh environments.
